I am keeping up the pace of one number per day and it's looking good so far.
I love the image of St. Lucy for day 13.

I'm a stitcher from the East of England, married with two boys.
I've been stitching since 1993 and have a dated sampler to prove it! I love the cross stitch chat forums and discovered blog-stalking a while back then started one of my own.
I love to stitch fantasy themes and samplers most of all. Mirabilia, L&L, Just Nan, Joan Elliot and TW are my favourites but my ambition is to stitch a Chatelaine...one day!
edit to say - 2017 is that day! I officially started my first Chatelaine mandala on 10th February 2017.

Days 1 to 6 completed
This is stitched over 1 on 32count Belfast Vintage Grain using the DMC conversion.
By the way, what do you think the animal in number 4 is? A hare or a dog maybe?
I am trusting the colour choices in this one, on the ring they are all shades of brown/sludge but once on the fabric they take on coloured hues, the little woman in 6 is a great example. She is stitched in 3021, 433 and 3782 but they look more like red and blue together.

I have made a Start!
I first saw these designs on Carin's Blog. I adore her photography and the way she presents her stitching and to be absolutely honest her blog sold the design to me!
Then I saw this SAL and knew it was the motivation to actually stitch them. I wasn't intending to stitch over 1, I got out my stash of neutral 32 counts and found I had 32 count in Vintage Grain which was close enough. The main thing I wanted to check was that Winter White would show up enough. Then I looked at the little designs and thought "these would look cute over 1" forgetting it's 32 not 28! Anyway, they have come out about the size of a postage stamp. So I'm thinking of brown luggage tags and a small tree to display them on. Here's 1, 2 and 3:

That's a one pence coin for scale.
